Most people are calling 2011 a disappointment. I’m not so quick to agree. There were a lot of really solid films released this past year, including some wonderful surprises like Rise of the Planet of the Apes, which I don’t think anyone thought would be as good as it was and was on my top 10 at one point. But without further adieu: my top 10 of 2011
