Real SteelReal Steel – Set in the near future, where robot boxing is a top sport, a struggling promoter (Hugh Jackman) feels he’s found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father. Directed by Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum). 

Ides of MarchThe Ides of March – An idealistic staffer (Ryan Gosling) for a newbie presidential candidate (George Clooney) gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail. Also starring Paul Giamatti and Philip Seymour Hoffman. Directed by George Clooney (Good Night and Good Luck). The Troy’s Review

In limited release is The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) about a man obsessed with the original film who tries a bigger experiment. Also, The Way, directed by Emilio Estevez, about a father (Martin Sheen) who travels overseas to claim the body of his deceased son. Then there’s also Dirty Girl starring Juno Temple as a high school whore who runs away with her chubby gay friend. Finally there’s Blackthorn starring Sam Shepard as Butch Cassidy in hiding and looking for one last sight of home.
