From The Vault: Nash Edgerton’s Lucky (2005)

This might be a director you’ve never heard of but he recently hit the radar of the Wiseguys when his first feature length film hit limited theaters in the United States in 2010. Its a movie called The Square, which was released in Australia in 2008. It actually made several of our Top 10 Dramas of 2010 lists here at Movie Wiseguys. Nash Edgerton is a former stuntman. He’s done stunts for The Matrix trilogy, Superman Returns and most notably as Ewan McGregor‘s stunt double in Star Wars Episode II and III. He’s also made a bunch of short films. In this one entitled Lucky, Nash wrote the script, directed and acted in it while performing his own stunts. Pretty impressive. I hope to be hearing this guy’s name a lot more over here in the States within the next few years.
