After becoming the highest grossing film domestically and worldwide, topping James Cameron’s last film Titanic in both categories, it has been beaten by the mighty vagina. Romantic Drama Dear John, based on a Nicholas Sparks book, has driven the women out in droves in order to topple the beast. Nicholas Sparks is like cat nip for women.
This upcoming weekend had my pick to top Avatar, Valentine’s Day, with an all star cast of big name actors and actresses to get the couples in the theater. Also, Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief hopes to start a series of movies based on books. And finally the Benicio del Toro starring flick The Wolfman. Will Valentines Day top Dear John AND Avatar?
